• This area relates to critical issues such as Domestic Violence, our GFWC Signature Project, as well as community safety, violence prevention and citizen responsibilities.  Club women are encouraged to suggest educational speakers on human trafficking, domestic violence awareness and other topics that are relevant in our current society.

Outreach encourages our club members to reach beyond our own community and consider how we can make a global impact, enabling members to become better world citizens through advocacy, education, and action.

GFWC partners with global organizations such as UNICEF, Heifer International, Operation Smile, UN Shot@Life and USO.  Please contact Abby Lorenz if you know of an organization we could reach out to and highlight at an upcoming club membership meeting. Together we will work in the civic life of our community and develop the combination of knowledge, skills, values and motivation to make a difference in the lives in our hometown and beyond.

Message from Abby on April 3rd, 2023 – Caregiver’s Coffee:

    Hello, Friends!

I wanted to share the photos from last Thursday morning’s Caregivers Coffee when we created the beautiful spring mosaic by tearing small pieces of paper and using glue to create this spring mural.

It was so much fun!  What a great collaboration between Dementia Friendly Pewaukee, the Woman’s Club of Pewaukee and the Pewaukee Area Arts Council.  Note the “autographs” on the bottom photo!

    Enjoy!
