• The GFWC Civic Engagement and Outreach Community Service Program reminds us that each person is part of a larger society.  We are responsible for taking actions that will create a better quality of life and foster a sense of community – locally, regionally, nationally and globally.

While there are many issues of public concern in our communities, we highlight citizenship and the right to vote, crime prevention, safety, disaster preparedness, the needy, hungry and homeless, military personnel and veterans.  GFWC partners include Canine Companions, Heifer International, March of Dimes, Operation Smile, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and United Nations Foundation Shot@Life Campaign.

Project ideas for our club women volunteers are welcome!  Please reach out to co-chairs Abby or Cynthia with your suggestions in how we can make a positive impact in our community.  Together we will bring the knowledge, skills, values and motivation to make a difference in our hometown and beyond.
