Alexander Gaggl won the Pewaukee and the State Youth Writing Contest for his poem : Walkig Through Cherry Blossoms.”
Susan Vetrovsky-Goldstone won the State Member Writing Contest with her poem “Fall, Pewaukee Lake.”
GFWC 2022-2024 Writing Contests/Closed for 2023
However, consider submitting your work from 2023 for the 2023-2024 contest.
GFWC members and K-12 students can submit a short story or a poem, which have been created in 2023, and win appreciation and in some clubs even extra incentives (i.e. gift cards).
For detailed information on the policies and rules for submission and judging visit www.gfwc.org, look for the “Community Services Program” area and under “Arts and Culture”. Note: There is a waiver that needs to be completed and submitted for each submission
The deadline for submission of all entries is February 12th, 2024. Your completed and formatted work must arrive at that date either in the Contest chair’s snail mail or email boxes.
