Fundraising

To provide support and financial assistance to our community, the Woman’s Club of Pewaukee actively looks for opportunities to raises funds.  At years-end, as many as 22 local organizations will receive a donation from the club.  In May, 2019, we contributed a total of $19,700.

We achieve our goal through two major categories:

MAJOR FUNDRAISERS

Spring Fundraiser – 2020 “Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend”

Member enthusiasm quickly transformed what started as an informal spring “high tea” into a second major fundraising event. Held in an informal setting, approximately 150 attend. This year, it will be at the Pewaukee Yacht Club on Thursday, April 23rd. Mark your calendar now! In addition to the beautiful view, it will include a raffle, silent and live auctions, lunch, and entertainment. Join us and enjoy “Neil Diamond,” our featured entertainer. It promises to be great fun – and a great way to help local community organizations.

Spring 2020 Fundraiser Donor Form

Fall Event  — “Razzle Dazzle Luncheon”

“Razzle Dazzle” is our premium event.  Held at a local hotel, the event draws between 200-225 attendees.  It includes a raffle, silent and live auction, lunch, and entertainment.   This year, we provided our guests with a wonderful program – “Dueling Pianos.”

As part of this event, a local non-profit is identified for a special in-kind donation.  This year our spotlight group was the Hope Center.  Attendees contributed a literal car-full of coffee to help the Hope Center’s dinner and day center programs.

GENERAL MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP MEETING ACTIVITIES

Meeting Raffle

Every meeting includes some type of in-kind raffle.  In addition to being great fun,  we raise approximately $2000 each year that goes into our general distribution fund.

Membership Meeting fundraising in-kind activities

The Pewaukee Food Pantry is our banner group and receives food and other needed articles every month.   This year, additional items were collected for several other groups:  non-perishable food for the local elementary school “snack” program; used athletic shoes for “Soles4Souls, new Dr. Seuss Books, and small ladies items for “Women in the Military.”

Every fundraising activity requires significant member-donated time and/or tangible contributions.  Club members are selfless in meeting these needs.  There is always room for more help!
